LIFELONG LEARNING ON THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY
What is it? An integrated Series of books and multimode learning materials that introduces the use of various technologies as learning tools including compressed video, computer, audio and audiographic conferencing.
Who is it for? A broad audience of educators and trainers working in schools, colleges,
universities, communities and businesses who are beginning to explore the applications of learning technologies.
What does it consist of? Four books in English and four in French, about 150 pages each, accompanied by a Media Tool – computer disk, videocassette or print
material. Also three Workbooks for Workshop Facilitators in English to accompany the resource books (French titles will be available in late 2000)
How is the Series oriented? A jargon-free documentation of the experience of practitioners in their
respective fields that gives a wealth of examples from the public and private sectors to demonstrate the effective use of learning technologies.
How should the Series be used? Independently for specific topics or as an integrated multimedia package for comprehensive coverage of learning technologies.
